Rhino Shield Paint 25Yr Warranty Covers Labor for 1Yr
Rhino Shield offers a 25-year warranty, though labor is covered for only the first year. Most coatings require application with commercial-grade, gasoline-powered airless sprayers, making the one-year labor warranty less beneficial if you don’t have access to such equipment. The accompanying image is from an investigative report in Orlando, FL, where a former Rhino Shield customer reached out to a news station after the local dealer went out of business. There’s been some confusion regarding Rhino Shield’s warranty, particularly as new dealers may modify the labor coverage terms. Tex Coat Paint Lifetime Warranty Excludes Labor
Tex Cote offers a lifetime warranty that covers materials but excludes labor. The corporate office is quite transparent about this, although some local dealers may offer their own labor warranties. It’s challenging to take new dealers seriously when they provide a lifetime labor warranty after only being in business for a few months. Customers typically expect coating products to be maintenance-free and do not anticipate needing to perform touch-ups themselves. Since coatings are usually applied with commercial-grade, gasoline-powered airless sprayers, a material-only warranty from Tex Cote may not be very practical without access to such equipment.
